Size: 5/8" diameter (estimated 5-7' tall)

Rootstock: EMLA 26

This apple tree produces a sweet blush red fruit. EMLA 26 is considered to be smaller than a half size tree--about 40-45% the size of a standard tree. It needs some support in early years, but could be self-supporting in later years. EMLA 26 is very early and heavy bearing. This rootstock is very adaptable for close plantings and double rows.

You will need to have a cross pollination partner of a DIFFERENT variety planted nearby.

We suggest purchasing a Honeycrisp or Cox Orange Pippin tree for cross pollination if you do not already have another variety apple tree in your yard. Plant the trees less than 60' apart.

**White blossom Crabapple trees can also work for cross pollination
