Size: Single Rhizome bare root

Cascade hops are one of the most widely used hops varieties by craft breweries in the US. Plants can climb to 25' in one season, and grow into beautiful vines with beautiful dark foliage. They have moderate alpha acid levels (4.5-7%). Alpha acids are the main bittering agent in the hops plant. They are highest at harvest, and diminish the longer the hops are stored. The plant grows in a variety of soils, but does best in well drained, deep, sandy loam soils with a pH around 6.5.
