This peach variety grows 12-16 ft. tall and produces large, very firm, freestone peaches with bright red skin and juicy, flavorful yellow flesh. These peaches are considered great for fresh eating, preserving, or using in deserts and pies. The Blossoms are frost hardy and the Suncrest tends to be a consistent, heavy producer. They grow well in loamy, well-drained soils with a pH between 6 - 7. 
 
These trees are self-fertile, but tend to yield bigger crops when planted near a different peach variety with a similar bloom time.
