Thimbleberry has a medium growth rate at 12-24" per year, reaching a maximum height of 7-8' tall. The soil preference is moist to well-drained soils and can tolerate clay, loam, and sand. It produces clusters of white flowers that attracts bumblebees and other pollinators and edible berries mid to late summer. The leaves will turn a bright orange to marooon in the fall. 

 

Full Sun to Partial Shade: minimum of 4hrs./day of sunlight
