Viburnum, Highbush Cranberry

Size: 12-18" seedling

 

Though not a true "cranberry" this large, mounding shrub produces an edible fruit similar to cranberries in appearance and flavor. Highbush Cranberry Viburnum are hardy and grow up to 3 feet per year to a maximum height of 15-20 feet and a maximum width of about 10 feet. This plant is suitable for planting in a variety of locations, soil types, and moisture conditions although full sun will produce the most fruit.
