Size: 2'-3' seedling
The Silky Dogwood has a rapid growth rate of 1'-2' per year, reaching 6'-10' in height with a 6'-12' spread at maturity. The preferred soil conditions are acidic, moist, sandy, well drained soils. They are flood tolerant and does best in wet sites. Their blue fruits and white flowers attract pollinators of all kinds, and they provide striking red coloring in fall/ winter.
