This deciduous conifer grows at a fast pace of at least 15” a year, reaching a maximum height of 70’-100’ and a spread of 25’ at maturity. Soil conditions include: dry all the way to moist, and sand through clay, but prefers moist, acidic soil. It turns brownish-red in fall before the loss of needles. This widely adaptable, ornamental plant has an appealing lacy fern-like appearance. Provides wildlife habitat and shade.
